🔐 Attention danish #Bitcoin hodlers 🔐
With the upcoming unrealized capital gains tax law in 2026 in #Denmark, your #BITCOIN STACK WILL BE ABSOLUTELY DECIMATED, and you will be forced to sell most of your Bitcoin over time and never be able to regain it again.
If you are not yet aware of this, please google "bitcoin lagerbeskatning".
Therefore, it's time to start thinking about your gameplan. What are your options?
- Leaving Denmark might not be a viable option for most people.
- Not disclosing your stack and risking years in jail for tax fraud is definitely not recommended.
- Selling your Bitcoin, paying the about 40% tax, and then move the remaining money out of the country to start a company in a more Bitcoin-friendly country could be a solution. This way, you can still live in Denmark and own Bitcoin without having to pay unrealized capital gains tax.
- Are there other options?

I suppose, most of the super rich people will simply move away anyway. This is happening already for years. I left Germany years ago and here in Switzerland many Europeans with money coming together and laughing about the middle class paying taxes despite any central bank can print money out of thin air.
Leave or do not disclose, but do not obey!

Monero.
This is one of the issues I have with the maxi mentality: yes, Bitcoin is great but its lack of privacy makes it vulnerable to governments' opposition (especially with KYC).
I genuinely wish the best and hope that Danish Bitcoiners can find a way around this issue!
Are the #Danish Hodlers making any progress regarding changing the mind of the danish politicians?
Time is running out...
