So monero is better than LN? Is there more LN on dark market or monero?
LN is not used on dark markets, not because it is not private, but because of infrastructure issues.
Most use of LN is a black market transaction. Most are not paying taxes or declaring those transactions.
Nostr zaps are a example of that. Totally unregulated not declared transactions.
You also can't hold monero as a SoV so you have to come back to BTC, as many others do the same you can then exchange only in BTC, you don't need monero to buy bread. This is all part of the growing out of a niche. Here were I live there are a few good places to spend bitcoin, there are bitcoin communities, if you look on btc map you see the growth, does Stripe accepts monero? Can bitcoin lose black markets? sure, but we need to grow out of black markets. we should we keep pushing for circular economies on bitcoin, and educate and spend bitcoin, what we need is business owners that are bitcoiners, and that will also grow.
> I'm going to show how wrong Bitcoiners are about Bitcoin as a store of value.
It's impossible to prove. Bitcoin = store of value.
What good will Bitcoin be in the end if we don't offer goods and services for Bitcoin?
Store of value.
> Is it better to stay quiet about all this?
Yes, and use Bitcoin as store of value.
> And suck each other's dicks?
That's optional.
> It's a fucking huge strategic mistake.
It's not. Just buy BTC, don't use it, hold, and get rich. Simple. Store of value.
Your strategy only serves to pay taxes; it's useless.
You live a Fiat life; I live a Bitcoin life. That doesn't work for me. Less theory and more practice.
Bitcoin's value is in its use. If it gets to the point where its never used, what value are you storing?
It actually damages your argument to lie, it doesn't improve it. 3 of the top 4 DNMs are Monero only, the other is Monero Bitcoin hybrid.
They do on the nosmero and monstr clients. Most Nostr clients don't have Monero support so people don't use it on them.
Stripe is fiat - surveillance - taxes "adoption".
You have it backwards.
use of tO;.;Olz depends O/\/ O*B*jectiveEzE*/*ya
my guy is being sarcastic
Nobody with the need for strong privacy guarantees uses LN
and not because of "infrastructure issues" but because *the end user cant personally verify the privacy*
ie, if it was compromised, you'd never know.
Run your own LN over tor with private channels if you need a lot of privacy.
use cut outs
I do.
it doesn't solve the problem, but it's probably fine for now.
what are they?
there are several ways Hanshan, MIX @ meetuPz irl friend & hIT the street p2p is my OP'O
most of the guys i know won't touch this place to give you an indication/sO there is th@
Stripe accepts bitcoin, bitcoin from my own wallet. what the receiver does with it it's not my problem, neither can you control it.
Yeah, show me a merchant accepting XMR in my town (there are people accepting BTC).
Hopefully we add ring sigs and bulletproofs, etc to BTC
That's the only solution. XMR will not take over. Unfortunately.
The same value that is being stored in every other market
I hear this argument a lot about how Monero is better becuase you can buy things with it. Can you explain where and how you do this? I've never seen one place accepting Monero as a currency or payment method, yet there are many places already accepting bitcoin.
