Is that the CashApp go live date?
It’s when all Square terminals will start to be able to accept Lightning payments
There are a couple of coffee shops that use Square and that I frequent. Does the merchant need to set up the account to accept BTC. Or do you think I could just pay with lightning via Strike or River (for example)?
My understanding is they will have to click two items in their settings and that’s it, then they can accept Lightning and have it converted to dollars, or keep it in Bitcoin or keep a portion in it. We will have to see once it is rolled out tho
