Idea: Take freeze dried food that has a >25 year shelf life at room temp and store it in a deep freezer at -30C (-20° F)
Would last basically forever?

Freezer could add humidity/frost, If it is in cans rust would be an issue. It does not magically go bad at 25 years either. A lot depends on environment. Worst case chicken feed.
I think mylar bags should prevent water incursion
