What do these people do that people are always saying free assange? Free so and so? Cause no one just goes to prison for social media posts? So what else did they do? If they did something big like money laundering or sex offender, I don’t think that freeing them would be beneficial for society, but I do think there’s a deeper meaning to why they’re arrested it can’t only be about social media
It doesn't bode well for functional journalism. That's for damn sure but I am very happy this man gets to go home. I don't trust the US government to hold up their end of the bargain though. I hope they do but . . . our government has a really bad track record of being trustworthy.
I guess he is getting freed for plea guilty. But I’d say if it was anyone who hacked into the us government and military database they would’ve been charged. And if it was someone from my culture who did this, it would’ve been a death penalty, atleast this guy is white and after a plea and 5 years he is becoming free 🆓
Who supplied Assange the information and who killed him?
Can I say something if you don’t mind, I support you in everything because I want to be your wife 👰‍♀️ 🤵🏻‍♂️ but when you talk the word “free” “freedom” too much it becomes impossible to support you. In the past, where I’m from there are words called “terrorist” connected to saying the word freedom and free. This is why I don’t like the word “freedom tech” I prefer it when it’s called decentralized tech only because of cultural differences that we share, where I’m from using the word “freedom” has severe consequences
You can say anything you want and get away with it, maybe even get applauded because of your blue eyes and being white. But if I posted free assange based on what he did and forgive him, despite the pictures released in newspapers, this would be seen as terrorism. I’m explaining my point of view to you, not against anything you say or do, just sometimes prefer to support you quietly. image

He did his time for having a huge ego. Hacking is not journalism 😑 however. Hopefully we all can learn from this.
from a moral perspective i just want to see him done with this. i hope he lives a good life from here. i really thought he would be executed on us soil

WE WANT HIM HERE WITH US, HERE ON NOSTR. HERE, HE WILL BE AT HOME! He need to come here!!
Assange, gaining freedom shows that American Democrats still have a conscience and a bottom line. The U.S.still has the spirit of the rule of law. Assange, a magical person.
In 2024, the Democratic Party is better in power. Because the United States wants to solve the Russian 🇷🇺 problem. Old Biden's ideal handling of the Russian-Ukrainian war has been well received by people around the world. The Biden administration has united European countries and allies such as Japan and South Korea, and the chip technology has better means to control CCP. The Democratic Party, governing is more beneficial to the overall world.

Free the J6 political prisoners. Yes, we should free Assange, but he knew that there'd be repercussions for what he was going to do. The J6'ers were set up by the government, then held without any recourse as political pawns.
Yay!! I’m so happy for Assange and his family. Now, one more to go!!❄️☀️🌬️🌨️✨💋🦁🫂❤️

Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, has entered into an agreement with the US judiciary, whereby he admitted guilt to charges related to leaking military secrets in exchange for his release. Under this agreement, Assange, who spent the last five years under strict surveillance in a UK prison, confessed to "conspiracy to obtain and disclose national defense information." WikiLeaks announced that the 52-year-old Australian Assange left Belmarsh prison on Monday morning and was later cleared by the British judiciary at Stansted Airport, London, boarding a flight out of the United Kingdom. Assange faced charges of espionage for publishing a collection of US secret documents online nearly 15 years ago. WikiLeaks had previously released hundreds of thousands of secret US military documents concerning the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, marking one of the largest security breaches in US military history. #nostr #bitcoin #freedom image

no. let him live a miserable life as he deserves.
He wasn't the hacker though, he just published hacked materials that he thought would help him. Clinton was going to put him in jail. He thought he'd have a better time publishing Russia leaks to help get trump elected. Hopefully, someone will learn from this. Is it heroic to save your own ass? Is it a sense of duty to the people that actually drives him? Are people really cheering because they believe in him, or because they believe in the one sided propaganda?
More like years of badgering, telling, complaining, explaining, and getting Biden to make a move to appease the crazy maga Qult and hopefully calm them down.
