the only thing that made sense with it was realising that they are binding the bitcoin market into the fiat system. add the various psywar attacks like segwit, taproot, liquid, cashu, and it all makes a certain kind of different sense.

Thank you! ๐ฅ๐ค Say less! I could get Saylor buying BTC for Strc, I could get dumb old institutional money buying STRC as a BTC proxy but I could never get why any individual would do it. It made zero sense and still doesn't. Perhaps because I don't see BTC as a "sov asset" or probably because I am not a trader. It felt like a major regression but the STRC bois had it all figured out and idk how they feel now following this announcement
Decentralization is key, like our bodies rejecting processed foods for pure animal products.
Projects like liquid and cashu cannot really be stopped though, why consider them an attack, their utility (or disutility) notwithstanding?
