It’s definitely going to be Stolen Focus - I’m only a quarter way in but I feel it’s teaching me and helping me realise things about my own habits - and also feeling slightly better about them 🙏🏽 Not much of a competition though 😭 the other books I completed were thrillers and romances 🥹 nothing wrong with them, but I feel they didn’t really teach me anything What’s your favourite book you’ve read this year? 🫂

One of the books I'm currently reading is Will Durrant's The Story of Civilization. I'm still on Volume 1. It's a multi-volume series he worked on throughout his life with the help of his wife Ariel Durrant. It's making me see people in a magical way. A detailed writing of human history in a simple way. I think I understand what you meant about the books that are read more for entertainment. They're a fun ride, but less likely to be impactful unless they're something that hits in a special meaningful way.
