It was there in there very beginning, I haven't seen translation in Amethyst since mid-2023

Are you using the fdroid flavor? That one doesn't not have any translations. Use the Play version to get it. You can just update the same version you are using with the other flavor via Obtainium for instance.
I downloaded it from zap.store I guess that's the deposit version?

Oh shit - that's what I did. Zapstore didn't give me an option to select which build.
I guess I'm going to have to revert back to using obtainium.
