Banana harvest. I have to pick these green because otherwise the flying foxes & bats will destroy the fruit. These grow to about 3.5 metres high so it's not always possible to bag the fruit which protects them from damage. I'm replacing them with smaller dwarf banana varieties which fruit closer to the ground. Bananas are soooo easy to grow here & take little maintenance. Free calories!
