agree, but it needs a lot of potential difference in my opinion. I frankly respect a lot of people and I value their opinion, but I think that the right exchange for that is to "give them back my opinion".
With very very few people in some situations I feel like "I need to pay them" where I feel like "the speech I can give back is not at the same level of quality of what I've been blessed of from them".

yep, that's why they tend to flow the way they do, people who are regarded as leaders tend to be the ones that get paid the most... i get a little out of this, maybe a few dollars a week, but it seems that the motivation for it is similar - people really feel like they gained something from my contribution, so as i say, it's a lot like a voltage potential difference... the zaps flow from those who received value to those who delivered it
