I’ve been attending Bitcoin conferences for the last 3 years with @npub1kd3n...sdth , putting Lightning in front of people and letting them use it. I’ve personally seen thousands of first-time Lightning payments happen. From that perspective, the world is more ready than we think

Last time I talked to bitcoiners at a conference I was explaining value for value and most of them hadn't made a lightning payment before. That was in 2024 though...

Isnt a "Bitcoin conference" something else than a "Bitcoin festival"? Has something like that even ever happened? (Like @Joe Martin 🎶🟠⚡ described, with not only music but also merchants, handcrafters, healthy food/drink areas, meditation guides, fitness guides, whatever, you name it?)
