Looking ahead to the release of Alone In Valentine. I obviously want to do an early #V4V release.
I feel like I've been sleeping on some of the #nostr music development. (Does music have it's own kind/NIP? and if there's a plethora of nostr specific music clients that emerge, I guess your music on nostr will be easily discoverable? )
I'm want to push my physical merch as that's the best way to make money back from the upfront costs of recording. But I also want to explore what other options I might be missing / have overlooked in the V4V space.
Should I look into
@Fanfares ? (Not sure if they're doing music yet)
As well as
@Wavlake for RSS, I want to look at what direct #nostr music publishing can offer. My only reservation is that if I wanted or needed to take music down in the future, that would be difficult or near impossible. Not that I think that would ever happen. The main problem still remains that people without sats (most people) won't be able to partake in this ecosystem, until a platform streamlines the onboarding process and that requires regulation and a company of some kind to be the middle man between credit cards/ apple pay and sats that can be zapped.
Also looking for a nostr alternative to youtube to publish music videos for sats.
Any comments / suggestions from the community are welcome!
