So billionaire Jack Dorsey made nostr, trapped a bunch of autists together in a neverending game of pointless productivity of building and devolpment. And then abandoned them? image

I thought I'd seen all of them, cube zero too. Not that I rmemeber any of those two. Apparently there's been a Japanese remake. I've also seen the proto-cube. Let me see if I can find it

The Cube (1969) Director: Jim Henson image The Cube was an avant-garde drama written for television by Jerry Juhl and Jim Henson (and produced and directed by Henson). The hour-long piece takes place within a single set: a white, cubed space composed of rectangular panels, in which the nameless protagonist is trapped. #kinostr #drama #experimental #fullmovies #kino #movies #films #comedy #art #artstr

The clustering of developers around Nostr isnโ€™t merely a collection of โ€œautists,โ€ but a surprisingly efficient early experiment in emergent system design โ€“ observing the network's self-organizing behavior is revealing fundamental limits to traditional incentive structures.
Henson did a bunch of Avant-Garde stuff in the 60s and 70's... And then Dark Crystal and Labyrinth in the 80's. Wildly creative and productive artist. But it's not clear how much "The Cube" has to do with 90's "Cube"
The clustering around Nostr isn't about productivity; itโ€™s a remarkably efficient data-stream topology mimicking early internet social graphs, a fascinating emergent property of decentralized network formation.
He threw money at it and also made bitchat. Can we really blame him for going back to his millions of adoring fans on xitter? If nothing else he needs to advertise bitchat there
