The way streaming pays artists today is built to serve everyone except the people making the music. Payments are slow, the economics heavily favor the biggest players, and most artists sit at the end of a chain that extracts value long before they see it. I don't have time to zap anyone while I'm driving, my priority is driving. Maybe in the future, there should be an optional setting that after 1 minute of listening to a song, my wallet will automatically get detected 21 Satoshi or an amount of my choice and given to the artist, that would be great because like I said , I can't zap when I'm driving

You can’t create livestreams in Fountain yet, but that’s coming soon. For now you can use nostr:nprofile1qqsv73dxhgfk8tt76gf6q788zrfyz9dwwgwfk3aar6l5gk82a76v9fgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz70zuj7n and people who follow you will see your stream in Fountain.

What you’re asking for is exactly what fountain was designed to do. You should try it out. It’s my go to podcast player.

It takes on average around five months for money from a stream to reach an artist’s bank account. With Lightning, payments can move instantly, straight from fan to artist. A main thing still missing is album view for music. Someone posted this on Nostr lately but after opening the app, album view is still not appearing + there are still no release year written next to the album. when shall we expect this to be fixed? ❤️ Love Fountain! image image
