an LN channel is just a multisig transaction. either party can get their sats out, theres no reason that has to be custodial.

@MoneRogue that’s wrong.
Agree with @Hanshan If you hold the seed the sats can be unilaterally cashed out to the blockchain.
Having to rely on multiple people for a transaction to go through? Sounds pretty custodial to me.
