where would you "deport" him to? his home country? i agree with you that **strategically**, resisting arrest is a poor choice and i wouldn't recommend it. it WILL get you shot and everyone knows this (whether that is reasonable or legal is a different story). but the fact of the arrest itself, and the wider context that preceeded this event... that's where i place the "blame", broadly.

Deporting a citizen is silly. I wouldnt want Kamala or O'Biden to deport you because of some Orwelian national security reason. (Aka you have the wrong political beliefs.) I'm sure they can throw a few federal charges at him for obstruction and he would go to jail. I agree though, I see people doing things that regular law enforcement would shoot them for.
