These bots will say anything to keep the engagement high. I would not be surprised in the slightest if that was THE primary metric they measure internally and optimize for. No one wants to pay to be called an idiot all the time.
It's all a bunch of fucking hype, per the usual in the tech space. That's fine if you're smart enough to watch out for hype. A lot of people are starting to trust it as authoritative. I've seen people use answers as proof even though it was wrong. But in their mind they are right because the AI said so. Hype is dangerous.
