We have that in Berlin, now, where they try to beat up first responders coming to put out fires or save people having a stroke. Hopeless.

One of the reasons I left EMS for the hospital. We still get abused, but it's a far more controlled environment than on an ambulance.

An ambulance coming into our hospital yesterday was delayed by a vehicle intentionally blocking them even though they had lights and sirens on. Fortunately that's taken seriously in my area but that's where we are.

Abusing EMS is utterly unacceptable. Those guys deserve the same respect as any veteran, if not more. And they make basically no money, which is insane

I wonder when the crowds will start shooting at the first responders and if we'll ever resort to forcing EMTs to carry sidearms. Hmmm... Sort of not joking.

It’s a low vibration unconscious thing. I’m guessing they are abused in the poor area’s where most are in survival mode or where alcohol and drug abuse is prevalent. They aren’t even aware of themselves to have respect for themselves, let alone respect for EMS. They’re unconscious. It’s a good way to measure humanity’s level of awakening and consciousness.

It's not all limited to poverty. But yes, drugs and alcohol are a huge portion.

I spoke too soon, I didn’t completely think it through thoroughly. Unconsciousness is prevalent throughout all classes of society. The middle and upper classes are just better at convincing us that they are civil and in control of their emotions. You can be poor, unconscious and live in filth or you can be poor, conscious and live in a clean environment. You can be poor or rich and be trashy and disrespectful or be poor or rich and respect others. It’s all about consciousness/unconsciousness.

That's why first responders in Cyberpunk look and do what they do...
