If enough keys to move the funds were generated on colcards, I'm not sure. I would reply to a thread from jamesob, instagibbs, PraveenPerera on X. They know best right now. Ask them. Don't assume anything.

Just make sure you are very careful while doing it.

I found 2 private keys that were part of the 500 BTC hack, so this is independently confirmed

If someone has a collaborative multisig where 1 of the keys is a vulnerable cc and the others are different devices, is there still need to rotate keys?

Just wait and see imo. You'll probably want to rotate it but take your time.

Any Coldcard? Even with passphrase?

It probably doesn't effect every coldcard, but as precaution I would move off any ColdCard. If you have passphrase it sounds like that helps - but protection might only be as strong as your passphrase. Follow jamesob, rot13maxi, PraveenPerera, etc on X for latest .

Important, do not rely on your passphrase alone

As a guy who isn’t super technical, what do you recommend we do in the short term if we have a strong passphrase? Feel like I need to move funds just to be safe but not sure what to do now

I would migrate at first opportunity I had to feel comfortable doing so. If you don't feel comfortable, start getting reps with the replacement wallet. Hardware wallet obviously better, but right now a phone wallet looks far more secure than a ColdCard 😕 Migrate in steps. Start with small amounts. Build confidence that it's working. No Hail Marys. Make sure you can spend out of the new wallet.

Blue Wallet or Muun or Phoenix are safe bets on mobile wallet front

If you do a mobile wallet b/c no hardware wallet - order one and migrate off the mobile to the hardware wallet after getting reps and getting very comfortable. Bitkey, Foundation, Trezor, Ledger all good options.

Another option would be to do dice rolls on the same coldcard

I'd probably be more comfortable with an ios phone wallet tbh. But it's an option.
