It would help if the protocol was less English centric.
At the basic UX level, that would mean stuff like standardized language tags to help with sorting posts by language.
At the deeper technical level, it would mean not requiring JavaScript/HTML or other wasteful English centric code
We do have at least a few, but they're rare enough to not be showing up in this thread right away
Amethyst has a decent translation feature. I often see posts in other languages here.
It works but I don't think it's really decent enough to make nostr good for someone who doesn't speak English right now
