Oh, I understand perfectly. You're rehashing the same old arguments. Yes, anyone with two neurons understands you have to trust a few extra equations. If those hold, you can validate the supply, which as I said, is what Monero nodes do all day long. It's not a great revelation bourne of a superior intellect that if the equations don't hold, the assumptions that rest on their validity will break. It's a redundant statement of fact.

View quoted note → the whole exchange is hilarious. never actually answers a single question, always assuming superiority and being arrogant, evading the topic and throwing insults. and yet, key questions go unanswered amidst all the sand throwing: were Satoshi and Hal Finney wrong about this, then? and where is the argument to back that up? of course, we never really get an answer. only more claims of intellectual superiority sprinkled with more insults. equally interesting is that this guy still doesn't understand that upwards of 80% of monero users are *also* bitcoiners. just more projection, literally 10 mins ago he was accusing "monero bros" of "only seeing black and white", and here it is, like clockwork, the projection: in his mind, as the language he employed betrays, it's "us versus them", so amazingly he actually seemingly manages to filter out all the key information which would allow him to incorporate the self-evident fact that it's not " us versus them", it's all bitcoiners with different opinions (again, most monero users are also bitcoiners) I can safely conclude that the many months of muting anyone and everyone who even slightly disagreed with him were not good for him. this is an even more intrasigent and belligerant version of the guy we once knew.
