I totally agree with the two ways people can interact with each other: 1) free exchange which is absence of the state 2) violence which is the state Nowadays both capitalism and politics are part of (have been captured by?) the state (2). It doesn’t mean everything is bad in capitalism or in politics. The problem is the state. I would recommend this book for more precise definitions: https://theconsciousresistance.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/manifestohumans.pdf

Thanks for the book link! Atm reading Rothbard MES, I will be busy for a bit. For me capitalism is only capitalism without the state. How is politics not bad? politics always means initiation of violence, or to say, politics without violence would be free exchange/contracts of individuals

Ah so yes, capitalism without the state πŸ‘πŸ» As long as the state is out of the picture, we are good and have a chance to witness spontaneous order πŸ˜‰ Modern politics are what you re describing. Plato would say politics is the art of soul-healing for the entire polis (city). The state uses a lot of euphemisms to describe its violence while twisting the meaning of important words (like capitalism or anarchism). We, the people, need to agree on the definition of these words before starting a conversation which makes the public debate complicated at best.
