Rats eat rat-poison because it tastes good to them.
Tasting good is not a reliable metric for judging what you eat.

Man, I was addicted to Mtn Dew for YEARS! Then, switched to the "good stuff"... Green Monsters! Talk about POISON!
Fortunately, I've kicked the habit! Haven't had a soda in months, or a Monster in over a year!
Been 99% carnivore for 3 months! Feeling better than ever at 54!
I would digress to some extent. First of all, you should eat what gives your body all the nutrients it needs to function properly on a daily basis. This, however, doesn’t mean your food cannot be tasty! There are plenty of recipes for recreating the stuff one‘s craving for with healthy ingredients. And although it takes quite the effort (and no, you don’t want to go to any restaurant anymore), I haven’t been disappointed going down this path. But I agree with you insofar as „tasting good“ shouldn’t be the sole basis of your decision on what to eat and what to leave away.
But seed oils taste good.
My kids arguing why they should be able to eat the processed crap.
so does healthy fried food. seed oils are just cheaper.
fry shit in tallow while you ween them off fried food and never eat fast food. EVER.

to add some nuance.
modern technology has rendered our senses to what we "should" eat mostly irrelevant. products like Apeal hide rotting produce and labs have figured out how to hide rancid oils from our taste buds.
its a journey to eat healthy these days

💯% agree! Ppl have been indoctrinated to judge only with their eyes & taste buds, and as a consequence such practices flourish unchecked. Supermarket aisles are full of toxic products & it can be quite the challenge to source healthy food. And details are crucial, e.g., what kind of salt is used or whether the water was purified beforehand.
