We might be better off as humanity when toning down technology and NOT onboard children in (anti-)social media, but stimulate interaction in the physical world. I like nostr and its possibilities, but te me it is only meaningful when my physical life improves by it.

I absolutely agree. Physical interaction is essential for human relationships. But let's be real: digital interactions are here to stay, and we can't ignore that fact. I believe the best place for children to interact is a less contaminated space like Nostr, rather than the hateful, conductive algorithms that power the centralised anti-social media platforms.
I think we should not allow them to use these media until they're older. Just like other addictives like gambling, alcohol etc, I am not sure nostr lacks the addiction characteristics of other networks. Might be I am wrong on that
