I think we should not allow them to use these media until they're older. Just like other addictives like gambling, alcohol etc, I am not sure nostr lacks the addiction characteristics of other networks. Might be I am wrong on that

Experience has shown that prohibitions are ineffective. Kids will always find ways to circumvent them. It is therefore preferable to invest in education rather than attempting to enforce restrictions, IMHO.
Agree, kids always find ways, but denormalizing "unwanted" behavior (again gambling, alcohol, sustainability) can help awareness, if you will, with parents which they bring over to their children. It is not a holy grail, that does not exist, but it contributes, like education to what, as a society, we find acceptable and unacceptable behavior.
