I’ve tried a few of these over the years… because this has lightning and it’s run by a bitcoiner I’m excited by it. Using it and abusing it to hopefully pitch them for a sponsorship… if it goes well!
Sorry Joe but this is a fiat card ! They said "bitcoin-only"... LOL such a big lie! And later bellow, showing> "works with... a bunch of shitcoins". image Let's be clear: these cards are FIAT cards and you are not spending bitcoin, but you give away your sats to Saylors... Spending bitcoin is when you give your sats directly to a merchant, not through an intermediary. Seems that people always forget WHY Bitcoin... image

Always worry about honeypots when it comes to Visa involvement. Even prepaid stuff.
is the lightning wallet self custodial----or do you simply have a fiat balance in the app? If its truely no KYC that's great, but how long will that last?
You send says to the card and it converts it to fiat that you can then spend. I don’t know how long it will stay no kyc and I wouldn’t know how to answer it sorry
Dude, I appreciate your enthusiasm and the appropriate level of toxicity but no one out there is living fully one hundred percent on Bitcoin… I’ve tried so many times over the years and I always find myself needing a solution like this. The other solutions I’ve had have been a little bit KYC heavy or they’re only allowed Bitcoin deposits. I like that with this one they have Lightning deposits and it’s literally zero KYC
It works with Google pay. Then you can use it on Amazon or Travala.com or whatever you like online. I’m an iPhone user, so for now it’s not in my Apple Pay I haven’t tried withdrawing cash with it, but I assume that doesn’t work - I have another solution for that
It doesn't matter if is KYC or not.... it's VISA. VISA is fiat. Every time you use that card you are literally demanding to create more fiat! Exactly against that we are trying with Bitcoin, yet people want to go back to fiat. Nobody says you have to live 100% on bitcoin standard. These things takes time. But at least try to use VISA and fiat less possible way, or at least DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SATS. Otherwise is all for nothing, we are just giving these sats to Saylors & Co... a shame. image Please read this post I made on SN and think again.

Authority demands card numbers issued by Freedomia. Authority demands transaction records. Authority ties merchant records to Freedomia card numbers. Etc. It all gives me pause. Should it not?

I like Freedomia. Some Services are not available with Bitcoin and so i can buy them without leaving Information about me
Everybody’s situation is different. There are no solutions, only trade offs. Bitcoin circular economies are dope, but take a lot of time and effort to establish.

Freedomia, Pintopay, 2fiat, Mesh bing card… plenty of choice.
Yes, as soon as you spend more than once from the same card pattern recognition starts. After 5 to 10 payments you created a unique finger print. Congratulations you soft KYCed your fiat card.
Fair. But there are people earning only bitcoin that need unfortunately to live in the fiat world. How can monero help in this? Very honest question.

Not readily available but making links isn't that hard if you have the authority to do so.
