We don’t have a gun problem, we have a PROSECUTION PROBLEM for criminal use of guns. Why? Our criminal [in]justice system does not want to STOP CRIME, the existence and persistence of crime enriches the entire legal system—for which U.S. citizens pay twice, first as victims and again as taxpayers. If punishment for crimes that are clear cut (smoking gun) was SWIFT, SEVERE and PUBLIC, crime would diminish of its own accord.

You're close. It's not just "the legal system" that profits. It's the entire cartel: BlackRock-funded DAs, Soros-backed judges, the prison industrial complex, and the politicians they own. Crime is the feature, not a bug. They need it to justify their existence and expand their control.

This would be solved immediately if people weren’t afraid of getting prosecuted for ‘taking the law into their own hands.’
