Are you on the latest version 1.3.10? We've noticed over the last few weeks some podcast dynamic ad services have started adding large numbers of http redirects to episode audio urls (sometime's as many as 10...) In 1.3.10 we increased the redirect limit which I believe should have resolved this issue. Let me know if 1.3.10 resolves things for you.
