GM. One of the most underrated features of Nostr is that it enables me to pay people (anonymously if I wish) without their permission. I don't love that it relies on LNURL & look forward to the day Bolt 12 becomes widely available. The flow on effects of this aren't immediately apparent but I think they are significant. I want to live in a society that operates on a value for value standard. Where participants focus on creating value rather than being distracted by how they can in turn, be remunerated. This note isn't about altruism & I reject or ignore that framing. It's more about reciprocity & division of labour. About focusing on your skills, talents & passions.
