Sounds good, but I wouldn't even pick it up if I randomly found it, cuz the name sounds race-baity. "Demon in white" - I instantly think of a purple haired, self cutting commie fat chick who gets social validation by hating a specific demographic.

Funny thing is it's kind of the opposite- it's written by a Catholic guy and the main character and his feudalistic culture are pretty anti-woke.
And one of the main themes so far is that sometimes empathy is overrated, sometimes the bad guys really are bad, and you need to just obliterate them to preserve order and safety.
Oh now we're talking my language! I'd aim for those themes too, if I were an author.
