I agree there's a lot of good nutrients in processed meat However I wouldn't recommend eating hot dogs without reading the ingredients I think there are 3 concerns 1) Chemical additives 2) Added sugar (which are sadly quite prevalent in meat) 3) Vitamin C (which is potentially denatured in pre-cooked meats and competes with added sugars for utilization in the body)
Buy the best quality meat you can. If that is rib-eye, great. If it’s hot dogs and cold cuts, get the best you can find. Look for Minimal ingredients.

It's interesting because I'm from Italy and here nutritionists and doctors are gaslighting us into thinking that all our traditional cured meats that we've been eating for centuries now cause cancer and other diseases.
