This seems like a good attack vector if it's possible to create block/mute bots.

Fixed iris.to mute function and added mute list sharing. @calle Users who are muted more than followed are automatically hidden from feeds and replies. You can disable the feature in settings if you want. Mutes / follows by 1st degree (users followed by you) are checked first. If there are none, then 2nd degree and so on.

It only counts mutes from your social network, and prioritizes mutes & follows from users who are closer to you.

Maybe I’m weird, but I don’t think the concept makes sense in a twitter style app. The people I follow are not my facebook-friends. I follow people to get a wide variety of opinions or news. Not because they like and dislike like I would.
