You are missing the point completely. If you want freedom tech for only yourself and people who agree with your views then it’s not about freedom. And I’m not sure why you think people who don’t want the state violence of police killing people is pure evil…. But that one is on you.

Censor, I do not think that word means what you think it means. Letting users filter content as they choose is not censorship. Even when apps do it within the context of Nostr where users have the right to switch apps with all of their identity and content is not censorship. That’s autonomy and agency. Choosing not to host content on your relay is not censorship. Censorship would be deleting your account, content, identity, breaking your connection to your followers. Censorship might even be forcing everyone to use a single algorithm in order to access your content and tweaking that algorithm to reduce your reach and shadow ban you. Censorship isn’t even someone tagging your content with content warnings. Because you don’t need to use apps that display or use content warnings and can block the feeds that are publishing the tags.

You know, many of us tried to be good middle-of-the-road moderates, arguing that unreasonable use of powers and censorship would backlash once the political winds turned. We were spat in our faces, called racist and all that and did their darndest to smear, censor and deplatform us. I've tried my best to be a reasonable man for three decades. Even before WWW forums were a thing. I argued patiently, very very patiently, when my opposition was fiery and anything but reasonable. I was belittled and vilified at every turn for my efforts. I'm gonna watch now as the chickens come home to roost. Probably have a cold one, too.
