I'm pretty sure the reason most things are pumping with Btc is because people are dumping Btc as it pumps. People are exiting into whatever they can because the bip110 didn't hardfork and they got no idea what to dump Btc for. Monero is going against the trend because kyc exchanges don't let people trade it and most people interested in dumping Btc for monero had already dumped 6+ months ago.
