Question: I have an old Trezor One. The screen is spoilt. I don't have the seed words any more. I tried to solder on a new screen, no luck.
Is there any way with advanced hardware to somehow extract the seed words from the device?
I believe there has been news that the Trezor is not very safe becade $200 of hardware can allow an attacker to extract the seed?

Yes, there's companies offering this service. DIY of course is the most secure but also the most likely to fry the chip. I'd favor those that present their work at conferences but ultimately don't envy you for having to hand your device to anybody.
Soldering on a new screen should work I would guess. Did you ask Trezor?
Trezor is exceptionally unhelpful. They won't tell me what screen exactly I need to buy at Alibaba and instead suggest to take another Trezor and remove the screen and use it - which is no easy feat. I tried soldering on a screen that I purchased but it didn't work - unclear if the screen was not compatible or if the Trezor is generally broken beyond repair.
Yeah I wanted to try this on an old trezor, but gave up when I couldn't find a suitably cheap glitching solution.

Looks like the cost will be closer to $1000 and more likely to work with firmware 1.5.1 or older.
That's as far as I got... Keen to find out more though.
