*Spoiler alert - HP: Prisoner of Azkaban*
That one scene in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban where Harry casts a patronus to save himself is a beautiful metaphor for self-fulfillment. Coming of age is increasingly a theme as the series progresses, and the moment that Harry is forcibly divorced from his naive hope that his father saves him, and the following moments where he realizes he must literally do it himself, and does so with force, are powerful.
Excited for my yearly rerun of the whole series this winter.
