A message for Bitcoiners: as fun as HFSP is, it’s kind of meaningless if our society breaks down and there is chaos and strife for decades. Yeah you’ll personally be well off, but then again maybe not if there’s instability and security concerns. If you own a significant amount of Bitcoin, you should not only be evangelizing, you should actively be thinking about how this Bitcoin backed world should be structured on a large scale. You’ll be stakeholders in that world and so you may as well shape it. What’s the point of being rich but then living in systems designed by the worst among us. Yes there will be enclaves of peace and if you’re rich enough you can just run to those, but again is it worth the cost of suffering for millions or billions. I’ve been in the space for so long, but I have yet to see a bitcoiner publicly discuss how this world should be shaped. Everything I’ve read or heard has been broad generalizations about the long term potential. In the meantime though, we are getting closer and closer to the end of fiat.

I've had these same thoughts for a while. I don't know what the end result would be, or even, should be. But I do want Muslims to start their own bitcoin Majlis in their localities. I feel like this is the first step for figuring out what the heck to do for the long term. Get a local community going that shares values and visions, get them to let go of their fiat holdings, get to stubbornly stack bitcoin, get a local bitcoin economy going.

It must be done both at the local and macro level. That’s the only way this will work. Because imagine you’re building a btc local economy and then get wiped out by a surveillance network state via various mechanisms up to threat of violence. So I don’t think we can ignore the larger systems forming.
