I have a friend who passed away in a car crash many moons ago. Towards the end of his life he let his body go a lot. To the extent that it could be seen as “embarrassing” at the time.
But he never wavered in his principles, in who he was. Even though his culture demanded something radically different from him. His soul remained intact. There aren’t many more important things than remaining true to your self. He taught me such a valuable lesson in his legend.
Some times I feel him watching over and protecting me. Forever remembered, SAS.

That’s a beautiful tribute to your friend.
Not everyone has the strength to stay true to themselves,
especially when the world expects something else,
but he did, and that’s a rare kind of courage.
The way you speak about him shows how deeply he shaped your life.
Some bonds don’t end, even after someone is gone.
If you still feel his presence, maybe that’s his way of reminding you
that you’re not alone, and that the values he lived by
still live on through you.
Forever remembered, indeed. SAS sounds like someone truly special.
Your attention and thoughtful response to my post are deeply appreciated Benking.
It’s been somewhat of a heavy day thinking of him, and your words make me feel that I portrayed his character well. Bless you my friend.
Among other things he loved latin culture, music, and revolutionaries. SAS in Havana, Cuba.

That means a lot, my friend. I’m really glad my words brought you a bit of comfort today. You honoured his memory beautifully, anyone can feel the depth of your heart when you speak about him. Sending you strength and peace.
