I have a friend who passed away in a car crash many moons ago. Towards the end of his life he let his body go a lot. To the extent that it could be seen as “embarrassing” at the time. But he never wavered in his principles, in who he was. Even though his culture demanded something radically different from him. His soul remained intact. There aren’t many more important things than remaining true to your self. He taught me such a valuable lesson in his legend. Some times I feel him watching over and protecting me. I’m so fucking tired of these boomers man. Their life decision making is shit!! When my children grow up, eventually I will let them guide my way. I will let them guide my legacy.
