I came here for freedom money, not for financial gain. Over the past 12+ years I have watched Bitcoin 12000x vs USD, and it blows my mind every time this happens. Even after all these years. Maybe I still haven't accepting the reality of it all. Many of us were told over and over that we were making a terrible decision, or that we were idiots for investing in "tulips." Ridiculed and laughed at constantly. Not just by strangers, but by family and friends. They were wrong. Not only did we make a good decision, we made one of the greatest decisions in recent history. We had the conviction, the nerve, and of course the autism, to do what we thought was right while everyone else doubted. Many of us were freaks & weirdos for most of our lives. Let's be honest - most of us probably still are. But we're the weirdos with motherfucking conviction. We're the freaks willing to put it all on the line for a belief, because maybe there's still something worth hoping and fighting for in this clown world. We were right. You can stay humble while you stack sats tomorrow. Today you pat yourself on the back. You text your brother with an "I fucking told you so." You look at yourself in the mirror and smile at a motherfucking winner.

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
I cherish the camaraderie we share in having been through all of those personal struggles we share, even though we didn’t know each other at the time and the solidarity we also shared in having been in the trenches together early on, again, even though we didn’t know each other then. Even though we were on different fronts, in different theaters of war, all the struggles were the same. Feels good to be on this side of the struggle now and to know we are winning.
Now the price will fall to$59,999 and some financial reporter will declare, β€œSee? Bitcoin is Dead.”

It has been incredibly tough to go through the last few years. It's only through conviction that many of us are still here. And yes it does feel good. At the same time, I see the average person suffering. The ones who are so far away from all of this, that they can't even see it. The guy working 2 or 3 jobs and has no chance to understand what is happening. I am happy to see Bitcoin succeed, but I am also sad that so many people need to suffer the fist collapse. Like they said in the big short, just don't dance.
