Running 99% of my services on premise with proxmox is the way to go. Never had any outage to aws or other crap online

Nice! I also run a Proxmox server, but only for local services. Are you using a VPN along with it, or are you exposing Ports? I was thinking of running an AlbyHub on a VPS, such that I don’t have to expose anything
Exposing several services through tunnels like Cloudflare or Netbird/Tailscale
Danm bro this is the wrong time to flex my nana’s pace maker is running on aws (jk)
I hope thats not the case!
Which ISP do you use?
Well I use multiple ones. Got fibre and DSL and planning on getting starlink as soon as v3 is out. Then I have a 3 HA connectivity and can expand my servers and offload the last pieces that I run in the cloud to my very own hardware
I briefly read up on Cloudflare, but basically you expose service that require a domain via cloudflare and service that are more data intensiv or require low latency via Tailscale.
So I could run AlbyHub, or a lightning wallte, n8n via Cloudflare and the ArrStack via Tailscale.
Is that ruffly the idea?
Is the traffic encrypted for Cloudflare?
How’s the power consumption?
