I feel like wanting to jail war criminals and being vegan aren't as closely associated as you say they are. I was hoping that I was missing or misunderstanding some aspect of your reasoning.

Vegans are definitely more ready to take down war criminals than carnivores, even though both groups are held back by tricknology
Yeah, but war criminals have better things to do than indoctrinate society into accepting a more natural meat.
