hi friend, i'm a biologist, i've worked in evolutionary genetics for quite some time. cheers
Hello and welcome fellow shroom enjoyer. I have a weird fascination with mushrooms myself. I shall follow you and learn from you! I know very little but can identify the easily identifiable edible wild mushrooms in The Netherlands. I also cultivate my own oysters, shiitake and lion's mane. I also like to take pictures of wild mushrooms. It's nothing fancy, i do it with my phone. However feel free to use any of them if you please.. Most are taken in The Netherlands but there are a few from Scandinavia and Austria.
Welcome! Here's a good starting place to get caught up πŸ‘‡

Welcome Alan, started following you. Amateur mycologist myself. Have been developing growing of Psilocybine species with a variety of plants. My most successful experiment to date. Is my 'Psilocybine cubensis var. Limonensis' It was only fed lemmontree leaves and grown with it as a seedling for Five years. Eventually leaded to these Neon yellow fruiting bodies. image Do you know anyone in the field that experiments in the same way? Cause I only have come across sterile set-ups and no cross species experimentations.
