Doesn't take much to edit out the retardedness and keep the goodness. Remember that Bitcoin's strength is in its *resistance to change.* Doesn't take many people to do nothing.

No it's a good concern. I hear @Luke Dashjr is funded by @jack , who has some sus takes. Hopefully more help and competition will come out of the woodwork.

He has publicly stated a number of times he would like others to work on it as well. Sounds like less of a direct Luke issue and more of a call for community responsibility to me..
Amen. Good catch on the port 8333 last video, turns out my nose wasn't listening after all..

lol no, why do you say that? Knots is open source, go check it yourself just like Core. It has eyes on it. Meanwhile, we know 100% that Core is malicious. Easy choice.
And on the flip side you are at the whim of 5 woke retards acting as one, that have obvious dependencies from unknown pressure groups. Pick your poison.
Umm, if I extend you thought I migrate to Knots version 29 for example. Because I felt it is good and correct from what I can test. Now lukejr does something that is malicious ( for example, not saying he will do) and now I get stuck basically on version 29 and keep running it. Thus having no upgrade possibilities. If I have to stay on the same version 29, I would choose BTC core and stay there. Saying that a group of large contributed project is 100% malicious and a single person project is never exposed to have malicious intend would be incorrect imo. But in any case, run whatever you want. It is your hardware. I am fortunate that I can read and understand the changes on these repo and can make a conscious decision on it.
well you picked running knots instead of core. i can say the same in reverse, "what core feels is good and bad and accept to the run the packaged versions from core that is called bitcoin core"

Your concerns are heard and noted. And, there are also other options if Knots and Core are both a concern to you. Being in this Bitcoin space really does invite me to keep exploring each facet of every issue that is presented. One thing I deeply appreciate is how due to its open source decentralized nature there is always another option. image

I got my entire net worth in bitcoin. I absolutely don’t want spam on the network diluting my node disk space so that these scammers can continue scamming.

This doesn’t mean I don’t want new features / programs in Bitcoin (internet programmable money with very very slow changes spanning multiple years). It means I want Bitcoin to stay as the hardest money ever invented and not a decentralized jpeg database.

Such a BS storyline. Bitcoin Cash already has all of that...on Satoshi's version of bitcoin, not on #Segwit, #Taproot, #Lightning, #Liquid, Rtstk(?) or any of the other shitcoin choices Core devs have made in the last decade. Poor broken (but uber-rich) BTC has a younger twin brother that was brave enough to make it on his own.

Damn! You're a lazy mfer! It would have been faster just to type "28tb hdd" into your search engine. Now I know why you love only BTC, you're a naive fledgling. Well, Bambi, welcome to your first steps to freedom!
