I've still never been able to mine.
It's really dumb that there's no mining software ready to go out of the box, where changing the configuration (setting your own payout address, changing your pool, etc) is optional

Have you tried Gupax? Very easy.
Tari immediately starts merge mining with Monero by default too once it syncs.
Gupax. You are ready to go in 5 minutes via remote node.
There's just some people, you just can't reach.
Update: I'm mining for the WikiLeaks donation address now with gupax, if I'm understanding what I see on my screen.
Can't do it forever, feels weird after how some people responded here. Just lending temporary support during this emergency.
