You will never know how many users nostr has. Because I can spin up 5 keys right now and use all 5, and I'm one person

Maybe the best way is to see total users with LN addresses.
You could spin up 5 accounts easy but to set them up with LN is a hassle unless it can be done automated.
Do you know a site that has accurate numbers?

What is a "trusted user"?
I thought it was about 4 million users
I have some stats:
- reputable users ~320k
- reputable and active (changed the follow list in the last weeks) ~110k
