I think the EU won't last more than 10 years. And then we can actually build something meaningful again, in the periphery. Especially in countries that have the Euro and were not able to compete industrially, like Portugal.
The Euro turned Portugal into a holiday resort (for upper class people) where only a very specific "economy" works and it's highly unequal and unfair. Spain became a post-industrial quasi-socialist old people den. A country that was an industrial power house in the south.
We need to become Argentina in order to actually transition to a diversified economy.
I'm really not a fan of the EU...
