easy solution to that - send that bottom 50% of households back to Africa and Mexico
The "someone owns more than x% of the population combined" is a correct but misleading/useless metric.
Around 20% of US population have 0 or negative net worth.
Anyone who is debt-free with a few dollars in the bank has more wealth than that 20% combined (0+0+0=0).
Inflation makes asset owners in the upper class become even wealthier without them needing to do anything. Some of the disparity is from the Cantillon effect where the Government gives money to those closest to power (typically very wealthy political donors). The rest of the disparity is caused by entrepreneurial risk taking that often advances society and is worth rewarding. So…. the solution is to stop printing money that inflates away the savings of the lower and middle class (who own few assets), and stop giving money and contracts to donors and their NGOs!!!!
