I do see your point.
Financial institutions currently serve as on and off ramps, which allows Bitcoiners to interact with everyday world. Unfortunately, until every merchant accepts Bitcoin, we do need offramps to convert from Bitcoin to fiat and vice versa.
If these Bitcoin banks simply serve as readily accessible on and off ramps, making Bitcoin more accessible for the population, then I do think they have their good uses.
Believe me, I totally understand what you're saying, but unfortunately, if you go to El Salvador, it's hard to live on a Bitcoin standard.
Fair point, if it’s just used as a physical exchange that might be helpful but if it’s to “store bitcoin” I’d say doing so defeats the whole purpose of Bitcoin.
If you think the current powers that be, are going to allow bitcoin to just freely take over the worlds financial system. You're a fool.
Howecer... We are all fools, wishfully.
I keep saying this they are working on forcing our hands because eventually we're going to have to file Hostage Situation Lol And gather the evidence to prove it I got the way to truly see when people's ready to look. . .it will get there though. I'm just chilling and waiting 🙂
Losing the plot would be giving control of your Bitcoin to an institution to hold custodially, rather than you controlling it.
Not your keys, not your coin, right?
