Academic achievements and independence aren't important? Nah, that ain't true. 🤨 Although, it's not necessarily academic achievements that are important. It's intellectual and educational wisdom that stands as a necessity. At least for me. 👍 I love a woman that can teach me things. 🤷‍♂️
It's going to vary person to person... Most of these I agree with, some not so much. My honest take: Sex drive is the last on the list, mine is low. Sense of humour, loyalty/commitment, and nurturing personality are far more important when looking for something serious. Lots of social media followers are a massive red flag though. Same with designer wardrobe. From experience, these are sus. Career and wealth can be a bonus, but not a dealbreaker..
Put yourself out there! Just like you are doing right now! Get out of your comfort zone. Go do things ya don’t normally do. Sign up for a class. Go learn how to golf. Throw axes. Learn kickbox. That’s where you’ll find new interesting men!
My fantasy was to have a meet cute in a bookstore. I told one of my best friends and she responded with, “Like Joe from You?” (If you don’t know the series he’s a stalker/killer) So totally ruined my idea. 🤣
Couldn't agree more with the social media follower aspect. They're usually the most selfish and have no genuine interest in getting to know you. Or maybe I just have bad taste in women. 😅🤷‍♂️
What men and women want has actually been studied. For example: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/231858845_Buss_David_M_1989_Sex_Differences_in_Human_Mate_Preferences_Evolutionary_Hypotheses_Tested_in_37_Cultures_Behavioral_and_Brain_Sciences Summary and update: I think the summary overemphasizes the differences between men and women, though. I recall another David Buss paper (which I don’t have on hand) that showed both men and women want loving partners most, but down the list there were some differences in priorities.
